Italian Senate president: Meloni will become president of the republic

Ignazio La Russa, president of the Italian Senate, said during a debate in Viareggio that in his opinion Giorgia Meloni will become president of the republic. La Russa described such a scenario as a "great good" for Italy. Meloni currently serves as Italy's prime minister.
