Poland's SAFE programme to add ~0.3pp to GDP growth this year, economists say

Economists at Credit Agricole estimate that spending under Poland's SAFE programme will boost industrial output growth by around 1.6 percentage points in the second through fourth quarters of this year, lifting overall GDP growth by roughly 0.3 pp. The stimulus from SAFE is expected to fade noticeably in 2027. The programme is linked to defence and infrastructure spending.
