Iran summons French ambassador over two diplomats' "interference" in internal affairs

Iran's Foreign Ministry summoned France's ambassador to Tehran on Monday to protest what it called "interference in Iran's internal affairs" by two French diplomats. Spokesperson Esmaeil Baqaei said the two diplomats had been briefly detained earlier in July. The summons reflects rising tensions between Tehran and Paris.
