Seven & i drops Żabka stake plan — shares fall nearly 11%
Japanese conglomerate Seven & i Holdings, operator of the Seven-Eleven convenience store chain, has pulled out of a planned minority stake purchase in Polish retailer Żabka. The news sent Żabka Group shares tumbling nearly 11% at Monday's market open, to 27.75 złoty per share. The withdrawal reverses a deal that had previously boosted the company's stock.
