Venice ends entry fee pilot – over €5 million collected

Venice's 60-day pilot scheme charging visitors to enter the historic city centre ended on Sunday, having run from 3 April mainly on weekends and public holidays. City authorities announced the programme raised more than €5 million in total revenue.
