Deputy Minister Raś Drafts Short-Term Rental Law After Profiting From Micro-Apartments
Wirtualna Polska has revealed that Deputy Minister of Sport and Tourism Ireneusz Raś bought micro-apartments, earned money renting them out short-term, and sold them to his brother – a Catholic priest – just before joining the government. His ex-wife also owns a unit in the same building. Raś is now authoring legislation to regulate short-term rentals while defending the bill against critics, raising conflict-of-interest concerns.
