Poland's 240 zł/h doctor pay cap has a loophole for "special skills"
A draft amendment to Poland's health law sets a 240 złoty-per-hour pay cap for doctors, but includes a loophole allowing those with "special skills" to earn above that limit. A separate requirement to employ doctors on at least a half-time contract could force thousands of specialist clinics to close. Critics describe the exemption as a "very wide-open loophole."
