Gdynia's modernist city centre added to UNESCO World Heritage List

The modernist centre of Gdynia has been inscribed on UNESCO's World Heritage List. The decision was made on Monday during the 48th session of the UNESCO committee held in Busan, South Korea. The district is considered one of the best-preserved modernist architectural ensembles in Europe.
