Crown witness against Zonda mafia could spell trouble for Polish politicians

Prosecutor Marek Wełna conducted a secret mission in a Gulf state to secure Przemysław Kral as a crown witness in the case against the criminal network behind the Zonda affair. If successful, it would mark the biggest achievement for Justice Minister Waldemar Żurek. The breakthrough could also help deflect attention from the ministry's less successful investigations.
