Wildfires near Bordeaux force 300,000 from homes across France and Spain

A wildfire in southwest France reached within 15 kilometres of Bordeaux on Sunday, while France and Spain together battled blazes that have displaced around 300,000 people. French Interior Minister Laurent Nuñez called the Bordeaux situation "unprecedented." Spain's Avila region simultaneously suffered the worst fire in its recent history.
