H5N1 bird flu confirmed in wild birds in South Australia
Australia's CSIRO has confirmed H5N1 bird flu in two wild greater crested terns found in Robe and Semaphore, South Australia. Authorities say there is no evidence of mass mortality events and no detections in poultry or the agricultural production system. All confirmed cases involve individual wild seabirds in coastal locations.
