Cavill and Ritchson's WWII Thriller Hits #1 on Prime Video

2026 has been a massively successful year for Alan Ritchson , who starred in one of the biggest Netflix movies of the year in War Machine . The sci-fi thriller was not released in theaters and was dropped straight-to-streaming on Netflix, but that didn’t stop it from becoming the biggest movie of 2026 and one of the top 10 biggest movies of all time on the platform. Ritchson is also set to return as Jack Reacher in the highly anticipated fourth season of Reacher , which is coming to Prime Video in August. He’ll also reprise his role as the towering action hero in the first Reacher spin-off, Neagley , which follows Season 4 in September. Ritchson has even been tapped to star in a new action thriller with Owen Wilson , Runner , which is opening in theaters on September 11. The first trailer for the film was released last week.
