1986 animated 'Transformers: The Movie' gets 4K theatrical re-release on Sept. 17
The 1986 animated "Transformers: The Movie" is heading back to cinemas in 4K, courtesy of Fathom Entertainment in partnership with Hasbro, with screenings set for September 17. Tickets are already on sale. The Nelson Shin-directed film famously featured the voice talents of the late Orson Welles, Robert Stack and Leonard Nimoy as Unicron, Ultra Magnus and Galvatron respectively.
