Arts and humanities must have a say in space exploration debates
Professor Abbie Garrington argues in a letter that arts and humanities scholars are absent from current debates about space exploration. She references an interview with physicist Laura Grego, who warned of Elon Musk's potential "appropriation" of space via satellite and raised questions about humanity's stewardship of Earth for future generations. Garrington notes that most people are relegated to a passive audience with no say in major civilisational decisions about space.
