FBI Arrests Woman Accused of Stealing $32M in Covid Relief Funds in Jamaica

Elaine Escoe, 41, was arrested in Jamaica by the FBI on charges of helping orchestrate a scheme that fraudulently obtained more than $32 million from US Covid relief programmes. Federal agents allege she played a central role in the fraud. Escoe is expected to face prosecution in the United States.
