Norris wins Hungarian GP as Piastri retires with gearbox failure
Lando Norris claimed victory at the Hungarian Grand Prix at the Hungaroring, his and McLaren's first win of the season. Teammate Oscar Piastri, who had been leading, was forced to retire on lap 56 with a gearbox failure. Max Verstappen finished second for Red Bull, while Kimi Antonelli delivered a strong comeback from seventh on the grid to take third. Lewis Hamilton fought hard across all 70 laps but received a five-second penalty and finished fifth.
