Romania shoots down third Russian drone in three days, summons ambassador
Romania summoned Russia's ambassador after an F-16 fighter jet shot down a drone in Romanian airspace over the Black Sea, the third such incident since Friday. Romania, a NATO member, had not shot down any drones before Friday despite frequent incursions since Russia's 2022 invasion of Ukraine. The country's defence minister confirmed the interception.
