AI helps scientists discover natural peptide that acts like Ozempic

Using artificial intelligence, scientists discovered a natural peptide called BRP that caused mice and small pigs to eat less and lose body fat without significant muscle loss. Unlike semaglutide (Ozempic), BRP works through a different biological pathway, opening new avenues for obesity treatment. Research so far has been conducted only on animals.
