Gerard Butler's Forgotten Crime Thriller Gets a Second Chance on Streaming

Quentin Tarantino named "The Rip," starring Ben Affleck and Matt Damon, one of his favourite films, praising it in Sight and Sound magazine as "an exciting cop thriller" recalling 1970s–80s police movies. The Netflix film amassed over 135 million views after its January release. Director Joe Carnahan's earlier crime film starring Gerard Butler is now getting a second look on streaming as a result.
