Evans rejected dozens of Marvel pitches before saying yes to Doomsday

Chris Evans revealed that after Avengers: Endgame, Marvel repeatedly pitched him a Nomad movie and dozens of other projects over eight years, but he turned them all down. He only agreed to return for Avengers: Doomsday when he learned Robert Downey Jr. was coming back to the MCU as Doctor Doom. Nomad is a comics identity Rogers adopted in the mid-1970s after becoming disillusioned with the US government.
