Sea kale tastes like kale and asparagus – and grows wild on European beaches
Sea kale (Crambe maritima), a fleshy, blue-green wild vegetable that grows on European coastal shores, is enjoying a culinary revival among European chefs. Its flavour has been compared to a cross between kale and asparagus. While it once was a prized delicacy, it does not grow naturally on Polish beaches and remains little known in Poland.
