First Exomoon May Have Been Discovered After 6,000 Exoplanets Found

After cataloguing more than 6,000 exoplanets, researchers believe they may have detected the first known exomoon. The moon is roughly the size of Jupiter and orbits a brown dwarf rather than a conventional planet. If confirmed, it would mark a major milestone in the study of planetary systems beyond our own.
