Prosecutors: competence is the last criterion in staffing decisions

Prosecutors Dr Krzysztof Wójcik and Dr Paweł Burzyński say that changes in the Polish prosecution service amount to replacing one set of appointees with another. They argue that competence is "unfortunately the last quality" considered in staffing decisions. Both point to a systemic problem of politicisation in the prosecution service regardless of which party is in power.
