Parliament petition: waste collection points should be open more than a few hours a month

A petition has been submitted to the Polish parliament calling for minimum opening hours to be set for municipal selective waste collection points (PSZOKs). Current regulations, in force for over a decade, do not specify how long these sites must be open, leaving some municipalities running them for just a few hours a month. The issue has grown more pressing since 2025, when textiles were banned from general waste and must now be taken to dedicated collection points.
