Wildfires Near Madrid Force Evacuation of 60,000 People

Spain has evacuated around 60,000 people from villages west of Madrid as wildfires driven by extreme heat and strong winds spread through extremely dry terrain. The fires have been worsened by heatwave conditions affecting the region. France is also battling major blazes, with over 220,000 people evacuated there.
