UK mortgage rates hit one-month high amid Middle East tensions

UK mortgage rates have risen to their highest level in a month, driven by renewed tensions in the Middle East feeding through to higher borrowing costs for lenders. The increase pushes up costs for homebuyers and those remortgaging across the country.
