Paramount and Warner Bros halt $110bn merger amid legal challenge

Paramount and Warner Bros Discovery have paused their $110 billion merger process pending a final court verdict, or until 1 June 2027 at the latest. Until the legal challenge is resolved, the two Hollywood studios will continue to operate as entirely separate, competing companies.
