Wątor Out in Round of 16 — Poland Stuck on One Medal at Fencing Worlds

Angelika Wątor was the only Polish sabre or épée fencer to reach the top 32 at the World Fencing Championships in Hong Kong. She lost in the round of 16 to Bulgaria's Joana Ilieva 13:15, finishing 28th. Poland remains on a single medal from these championships.
