Kazimierska smashes 46-year-old Polish 800m record at domestic championships

Klaudia Kazimierska, who studies and trains at the University of Oregon, flew back to Poland for just a few days ahead of the European Championships. At the Polish national championships she won the 800m title in a new national record time, breaking a mark that had stood since 1980 — 46 years. She also plans to compete in the 1500m.
