PBS SoCal and KMEX top L.A. Area Emmy Awards

PBS SoCal (KOCE and KCET) was the top winner at the L.A. Area Emmy Awards, taking home eight trophies including live events, entertainment, crime/social issues and arts. Univision's KMEX followed with seven wins, and Telemundo's KVEA with six, with KVEA also claiming the daily daytime newscast award.
