Vietnamese cargo ship sinks in South China Sea — 23 crew members missing

A Vietnamese-registered cargo ship carrying 62 crew members sank near Yongshu Reef in the South China Sea. Twenty-three crew members are missing following the sinking. Search and rescue operations are under way in one of the world's most strategically contested maritime regions.
