Poles work 36 years on average – seventh lowest in the EU

A person turning 15 in 2025 can expect to spend an average of 36 years in the Polish labour market, according to the Polish Economic Institute. This is the seventh lowest result among all EU member states, placing Poland below the bloc's average for years of professional activity.
