Ireland to require licence and helmet for e-scooter riders, bans under-18s

Ireland's government announced it will raise the minimum age for riding electric scooters from 16 to 18, and will require riders to hold a driving licence, wear a helmet and wear a high-visibility vest. The measures are aimed at improving road safety.
