Mountain rescue warns of alarming tourist behaviour in the Tatras

The Tatra Volunteer Rescue Service (TOPR) responded to dozens of callouts last week as crowds of tourists flocked to the Tatras. Rescuers have issued a public appeal urging visitors to behave responsibly during rescue operations, which are reportedly being hampered by bystanders. TOPR warned that the alarming behaviour poses a real risk to both tourists and rescue personnel.
