Poles work too few years – without a higher retirement age, low pensions loom
The working lifespan of Poles is growing but remains below the EU average. Analysts argue that without raising the minimum retirement age — especially for women — further increases in average career length will be hard to achieve. The result will be low pensions for generations now entering the labour market.
