Polish mayor near London: "You can't live here on a mayor's salary"

Michał Siewiak, who came to England over 20 years ago and started out working in a bakery, is today the mayor of the Welwyn Hatfield district near London. He told Interia that a mayor's salary is not enough to live on in the area, and that he only grew seriously interested in politics after settling in the UK.
