Typhoon Noul hits China's Guangdong province — hundreds of thousands evacuated

Typhoon Noul made landfall in southern China's Guangdong province and neighbouring Hong Kong, bringing strong winds and heavy rainfall to the region. Hundreds of thousands of residents were evacuated as a precautionary measure ahead of the storm's arrival.
