ECJ rules commuting counts as working time — verdict applies in Poland

The Court of Justice of the EU has ruled that commuting time — both to and from work — counts as working time. The verdict applies across all EU member states, including Poland. However, its application depends on certain conditions set out by the court in its reasoning.
