Venezuelans sue US airlines that flew them to notorious El Salvador prison
Venezuelan men held in a notorious Salvadorian terrorism prison after being deported by the Trump administration have filed a federal lawsuit in Washington DC. They accuse aviation companies CSI Aviation and GlobalX of violating their civil rights, false imprisonment and negligence for flying the three planes that transported them. The suit is among the first legal challenges targeting the contractors involved in the deportation flights.
