Unpaid TV licence fee can be deducted from pension in Poland
People who have a registered radio or television receiver but are not paying the licence fee risk having their debt collected by the Polish tax authority, including from their pension. The law provides several exemptions, including for people aged 75 and over and those in financial hardship. Seniors who do not qualify for an exemption should settle arrears to avoid enforcement action.
