Disabled parking cards to be replaced by 2028 under new EU rules

An EU directive requires all member states to introduce a unified European parking card by 2028, obliging holders to replace their current cards. The Polish government wants to avoid a double replacement and plans to remove disabled parking cards from the category of third-tier public documents. This would spare people with disabilities from having to swap their cards twice within a short period.
