Cryptocurrencies and NFTs used to finance terrorism, Spain warns

Spanish security services have observed a rise in cryptocurrency transactions being used to finance terrorism, according to the EFE news agency. Experts warn especially about non-fungible tokens (NFTs), whose transactions are difficult for authorities to detect. The trend poses a growing challenge for European security agencies.
