Lech Poznań goalkeeper Mateusz Lis was shown a red card during the 0:0 Ekstraklasa opener against Cracovia, but VAR overturned the decision. Cracovia's Sebastian Madejski was outstanding in goal, neutralising the Polish champions' attack. A year ago Cracovia shocked Lech 4:1 in the same fixture; this time neither side scored.
