Çadır Höyük reveals 6,000 years of unbroken settlement in central Turkey
Archaeologists excavating Çadır Höyük in central Turkey are reconstructing the history of communities that inhabited the site continuously for around 6,000 years. Research covers house construction techniques, settlement layout and pottery production. The latest excavations revealed that architectural traditions from the site survive to this day in a nearby village.
