Starship Flight 13 Floats Intact After Splashdown – Tower Catch Next

SpaceX's 13th full-scale Starship test flew halfway around the world from South Texas before making a gentle, intact splashdown in the Indian Ocean west of Australia — the first time the vehicle came to rest floating without catching fire. Drones inspected the more than 18,000 ceramic heat-shield tiles, which withstood temperatures up to 2,600°F (1,430°C). SpaceX is now eyeing a tower-catch attempt for the next Starship flight.
