Germany's Eichbaum brewery in Mannheim closes after 347 years

Germany's historic Eichbaum brewery in Mannheim is closing after nearly 347 years of continuous operation. Months-long efforts to find an investor failed, resulting in the end of the brand and the loss of approximately 240 jobs. Eichbaum was one of the oldest continuously operating breweries in Germany.
