Russia extends petrol export ban to year-end amid fuel shortages

Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak announced on Saturday that the ban on petrol exports will be extended to the end of 2025. He acknowledged that fuel shortages persist in some Russian regions. Ukraine has been targeting Russian oil infrastructure, including facilities in Siberia, for several weeks.
