Bob's Burgers skips fall premiere, returns at midseason on Fox

Heading into its 17th season on Fox, Bob's Burgers is undergoing some shift changes. For the first time since Bob Belcher's restaurant opened in 2011, Loren Bouchard 's Emmy-winning animated comedy will not re-open as part of the fall Sunday lineup. The Joel McHale -led live-action sitcom Animal Control will instead take its place right after The Simpsons , breaking up the usual Animation Domination lineup, as Universal Basic Guys and Grimsburg round out the night. That means a bit longer wait to see the Belcher family than usual, as it's now set to return at midseason alongside Family Guy and American Dad .
