Belarus follows Russia's lead with military drills for children in schools

Belarus is planning to establish a youth organisation modelled on Russia's Yunarmiya, designed to prepare children for military service and instil loyalty to the state through the education system. The Lukashenko regime is thus expanding the militarisation of Belarusian society. Russia has operated similar programmes for years, and Minsk is increasingly following the same path.
