Spanish wildfires force NASA to evacuate Madrid Deep Space complex

Wildfires ravaging Spain reached the Madrid Deep Space Communications Complex (MDSCC) in Robledo de Chavela near Madrid, one of NASA's most important facilities outside the United States. The US space agency evacuated all personnel from the complex as the fires posed a direct threat to the site.
